Helping Chad Norris Get Around

On Thanksgiving Day, November 26th of this year my husband Chad Norris had a massive stroke. He spent 8 days in the Neuro ICU at UNC Chapel Hill where at certain times I did not know if he would come home. By the grace of God and through many, many people praying for him, Chad made a miraculous turn around. In the words of one of Chad’s nurses “God intervened for him because it is very rare that a patient that has had as massive stroke that Chad has had to turn around and make such a drastic recovery in such a short period of time.” On December 3rd Chad was discharged from the hospital home!

Chad does have to use a walker and coming home we were at a loss as to how we were going to get a ramp built, much less pay for the materials for the ramp. However, in the midst of us worrying God had a plan, Christy Talbott from Blast and Cast reached out to me and offered to help. I do not know what we would have done with out this amazing group, not only did they pay for all of the materials, but Jerry delivered them to our home. We had friends to build the ramp for us and it has helped Chad so much with his recovery. I cannot thank Blast and Cast enough for their kindness and generosity, they are truly a group of people doing God’s work.
